Since Annabel and Stephen got engaged on The Golden Gate Bridge, they knew right away that the hills and beach just north of the city were where shooting this session would be most memorable. And the scenery did not disappoint! Their San Francisco engagement session was an absolute dream! We spent the hours leading up until the sunset golden hour, driving to various spots along Mt. Tam, and finally made our way down the hill to Stinson Beach for the last bits of light. As we strolled along the golden hills of Mount Tam, we took in views of tree groves, the ocean, and even the gorgeous San Francisco skyline off in the distance. Annabel wore a flowy navy dress with an open back, that moved with the wind like it was made to be worn outdoors! When we got down to Stinson Beach, Annabel changed into a white crop top and white wrapped linen skirt before changing into jeans. We had a lot of fun bear hugging, piggyback riding, and darting in and out of the water until the sun went down.
Although San Francisco was a huge part of their story, it all began a little bit north in St. Helena – where they met. Since then, they have spent so much time in Northern California’s wine country that it’s only fitting for them to also host their big day there! They’ll be getting married at the gorgeous Beaulieu Gardens in Rutherford, and if this session was any indication, we know it will be a day filled with love, laughter, and holding each other close.
