We had not previously done a 17 mile drive engagement session, but when Nicole and Taylor told us their idea we were instantly excited. With the cliffs, beaches, and ocean views at Point Lobos and 17 Mile Drive, we knew we would have endless possibilities! On top of the dream backdrop, Nicole and Taylor came to the shoot looking like they stepped out of a magazine! Typically we send our couples a blog post of engagement photo outfit ideas, but Nicole and Taylor were way ahead of us. Nicole first wore the Megan Dress from Dress The Population, which had a gorgeous white sequin lace over a nude underlay. Taylor’s light blue dress shirt and black dress pants made the white pop even more! Nicole’s second outfit was a blush maxi dress from Lulu’s worn alongside Taylor’s white dress shirt and khakis. They killed it!
Nicole and Taylor met in 2012 while attending University of the Pacific. Even though they hit it off as soon as they met at a mutual friend’s party, they took the next couple of months to get to know each other – but before long they were inseparable! Through long distance, the cutest pup Marley, and moving in together, they’ve experienced so much together over the last six years.
This past February, Taylor knew this was the right time to ask Nicole to marry him, so he planned a day filled with all of her favorite things. They enjoyed the Bay Area together eating delicious food, drinking beer, and watching the sunset at the very top of the Berkeley Hills. He got down on one knee, and asked Nicole to marry him!
Nicole and Taylor will be tying the knot next summer, at the place she grew up spending time at with her family – the gorgeous Mission Ranch in Carmel! And we can’t wait!!!
