The day had finally come for Tiffany and Nick to tie the knot, and it could not have been a better one! We were anxiously watching the weather in the weeks leading up to the big day, and were just crossing our fingers when all we saw was rain and temperatures in the 50’s! When we woke up on that Saturday morning though, and opened our weather app, we saw a beautiful sunny day with 73 degree highs ahead! We were so happy that Tiffany and Nick’s outdoor wedding could go on as planned, and couldn’t wait to get the day started!!
Tiffany and the girls got started early on their hair and make-up, chatting and drinking champagne, while the guys didn’t stroll in until the afternoon because, well, they’re guys 🙂 The attention to detail put into the wedding was unrivaled and a thrill to shoot. Tiffany wore white Badgley Mischka wedding shoes, to go with her stunning Hayley Paige wedding dress, which had a lace bodice and a tulle skirt. Her bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in varying shades of light blue, and complemented each other beautifully. Nick and the guys all wore nicely tailored grey suits with white ties, that looked beautiful next to the ladies’ blue gowns.
The tears started early with Tiffany and Nick exchanging letters before meeting outside for their first look. Nick patiently waited for Tiffany to walk up and tap him on the shoulder, and as he turned around, he saw his future wife for the first time. The couple took some time alone (well with us being designated third and fourth wheels), talking about their days so far, and complimenting each other after not knowing what the other would be wearing. After a few minutes to themselves, the bridesmaids and groomsman joined in on the fun and got some photos before the guests started arriving for the ceremony.
Following a path through the trees, and between a pair of standalone double doors, we came upon a stone arch covered in flowers and a hanging chandelier. Family and friends quickly filled the seats and were anxiously awaiting Nick and Tiffany coming down the aisle. The ceremony was as emotional as the first look, but by the time they were pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds were nothing but smiles! We took the now married couple into the back of Ma Maison for their sunset portraits, before they rang the venue’s bell in the tower and made their grand entrance into the reception. The reception had a beautiful mix of round and farmhouse tables, and soft candle light bouncing off of the white flowers and greenery.
Tiffany and Nick spent the rest of the evening talking and dancing with their friends and family. Partway into the dancing, they even passed out glow sticks, and the party got its second wind! At the end of the night, Tiffany and Nick exited through a tunnel of sparklers straight into a vintage getaway car! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez!!! We could not feel more thankful to have been there to witness you two become husband and wife 🙂
